Not sure if this is the exact same link as I linked the other day but I didn't notice the soundtrack bit. A medical drama called 'Trauma' on radio.

First of all, you may have found this ages ago- looks like it was posted in October, but I only discovered it a week or so back:
Martha Wainwright interview on Face Culture There are about five I think... its a youtube link...
Lys has uploaded some of her videos from Martha's recent London and Amsterdam shows...
Check out her channel here Loads of Rufus ones too if you are a fan!
Think thats all for now... Martha's European Tour has finished for now.... Scotland and Ireland will get her in the new year.... If you are in the US no doubt you know about the Christmas 101 shows... if not... check out the link here from Martha's Website... All Proceeds to the Kate McGarrigle Foundation! No pressure, but if there are tickets left and you aren't too far away... go for it! I would if I could :)

Its been a while again... big update though!
I do feel a bit bad for not posting so much these days- but as I probably said in my last post... I feel like the Martha news is getting out there especially through Facebook and so not sure how much this blog is needed.... Anyway, I still feel attached to it so will do a little (possibly big) update now.... Let me know what you think about me keeping on updating and what like and don't like.... I can definitely update it more regularly- such as when I see an article or hear any news... I find enough excuses to keep me away from my museum course stuff and two jobs as it is now!
Ok, so I have been lucky enough to see a couple of Martha's recent UK shows- London, Shepherds Bush Empire on Sunday 2nd Dec and St Georges Church, Brighton yesterday on Friday 7th Dec.... It has been lovely to see the nice reviews of Martha's UK Tour and I just think Martha gets better and better (no pressure attached there- They can get a bit worse too and I still won't mind!) Both the venues I went to were great and had a good intimate feel to them, there was a great mix of songs old and new and band and solo pieces.... Shall not bore you more.....
Anyone else at the above or other Europe shows and have something to say about them? Don't forget to go to Martha's Official Forum and have a chat (like I should do now!) as well as of course check out Martha's Official Website for other links and live dates- and as mentioned above- follow her on Facebook- loads of stuff such as pics from on the road are posted there.... And of course feel free to make any (nice) comments about anything below in the comments box.....
Here are a few notable reviews, pics and interviews of the past month or two:

Where does Martha get her inspiration from?
Hi there everyone,
Hope you are all having a nice new year. Here is a link to how some artists get their inspiration and Martha is one of the artists covered. Press here for a link to The Guardian article Enjoy!
Have to say I agree with Martha about Sufjan. I didnt really know anything about him when I got to see a concert through ushering at a venue he played at last year and thought it was great. Had a really good feel-good feel to it! (Hopefully I can get away with my lack of variation in descriptive words there!)
Well I had better get on with some essay writing, so bye for now!
